Single fiber and bidirectional fiber (BiDi) refer to the same concept, using one fiber for both transmitting and receiving, while dual fiber uses two separate fibers for transmission and reception.Single Fiber (BiDi) TransceiversA single fiber transceiver, also called a BiDi (bidirectional) transceiver, transmits and receives data over a single optical fiber using two different wavelengths—one for transmitting (TX) and one for receiving (RX) signals .
